Muhammad Qasim is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ningbo Green Light Energy Limited (NGLE).
An engineer by training, he combines technical understanding with entrepreneurship, project development, commercial strategy and financial structuring to lead NGLE’s growth in Pakistan’s renewable-energy sector.
Since establishing NGLE’s operations in Pakistan in 2018, he has led the company’s evolution from a solar engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) business into a broader energy platform encompassing renewable-energy infrastructure, battery energy storage and financing-led energy solutions.
Under his leadership, NGLE has delivered more than 300 MW of solar projects across Pakistan, serving commercial, industrial and institutional customers.
A central focus of his strategy has been addressing one of the key barriers to renewable-energy adoption in Pakistan: access to capital. This has led NGLE beyond the traditional EPC model toward structures that enable businesses to adopt renewable energy and energy-storage solutions while preserving capital for their core operations.
Qasim has also led NGLE’s transition toward institutional capital markets and the development of partnerships with financial institutions, investors, technology providers and international stakeholders.
In 2026, NGLE entered into a proposed business combination with LSE SPAC-I Limited, intended, subject to completion of the applicable court, regulatory and transaction requirements, to result in NGLE becoming the listed operating entity through Pakistan’s first SPAC business combination.
As Founder and CEO, Qasim continues to lead NGLE’s strategy across renewable-energy infrastructure, energy storage, energy financing and strategic investment, with the objective of building a scalable energy platform capable of supporting the changing energy requirements of Pakistan’s commercial and industrial economy.

Undertaking several domestic and international projects of large scale using solar thermal, photo-voltaic, and operating all kinds of large power stations all over the world.
Ningbo Green Light Energy Group, owns more than ten subsidiaries, headquartered in Ningbo, China. It is one of the earliest enterprises to export photo-voltaic system from China.
